Athalassa National Forest Park, located on the southeastern edge of Nicosia, is an expansive green sanctuary covering 840 hectares. Officially designated a National Forest Park in 1990, Athalassa has transformed from a barren landscape into a thriving ecosystem, offering a diverse landscape of woodlands, shrublands, and wetlands.
