Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the City Centre of Nicosia, start at the Eleftheria Square (Ελευθερίας) which is a popular landmark. From there, walk south along the pedestrian street towards the main shopping area. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Λεωφ. Αρχιεπισκόπου Μακαρίου Γ'. Cross the street at the traffic lights and continue walking straight for about 300 meters. You will see Πλατεία Στασάνδρου on your right, located at Λεωφ. Αρχιεπισκόπου Μακαρίου Γ' 31. Look for the distinctive square that has a park-like setting.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the central bus station (Σταθμός Λεωφορείων), take bus number 117 towards the City Centre. The ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Αρχιεπισκόπου Μακαρίου Γ''. From there, walk east along Λεωφ. Αρχιεπισκόπου Μακαρίου Γ' for approximately 200 meters. You will find Πλατεία Στασάνδρου on your left, near the intersection with other main roads.

• Walking from Kyrenia Gate

  If you are at the Kyrenia Gate (Κερύνειας), head south towards the old city walls. As you exit the gate, turn left and follow the path along the walls until you reach the main road. Turn right on the main road and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will arrive at the intersection with Λεωφ. Αρχιεπισκόπου Μακαρίου Γ'. Cross the street and you will see Πλατεία Στασάνδρου on your right after a short walk.
