Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the center of Nicosia, head towards the Ledra Street pedestrian crossing. Cross into the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at the checkpoint. Once you cross, continue straight onto Atatürk Square. From the square, walk straight down Girne Avenue (Girne Cd). The Venetian Column will be on your left after approximately 10 minutes of walking. Look for the tall column standing in the park area.

From the center of Nicosia, walk to the nearest bus stop at Eleftheria Square and catch a bus heading towards North Nicosia. You can take the bus number 10 or 27. Get off at the Girne Avenue stop. After disembarking, walk straight for about 5 minutes along Girne Cd, and you will find the Venetian Column on your left.
