Walking
If you are in Nissi Beach, the easiest way to reach The Mermaid Statue is to walk. Head west along Nissi Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 km, enjoying the beach views along the way. Once you reach the end of Nissi Avenue, turn left onto Kriou Nerou Avenue. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the Mermaid Statue on your right, located at the shore near the Ayia Napa harbor.
Public Transportation
You can take a local bus from Nissi Beach to Ayia Napa. Catch the bus at the Nissi Beach bus stop (check the local schedule for the most current times). The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the Ayia Napa central bus station. From there, walk towards the coast, heading southwest. Continue walking for about 15 minutes, following the coastline until you reach The Mermaid Statue. Ensure you have a small amount of change for the bus fare, which is typically around €1.50.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Nissi Beach to The Mermaid Statue. Taxis can be found at various points in Nissi Beach or can be booked via local taxi apps. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxi fares might range from €10 to €15, so it’s best to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Car
If you're driving, start from Nissi Beach and head towards Nissi Avenue. Follow signs to Ayia Napa and continue on Nissi Avenue until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Kryou Nerou Avenue, and follow the road until you see the signs for Ayia Napa harbor. The Mermaid Statue is near the harbor area, where you can find parking options. Be prepared to pay for parking, which can cost around €1-€2 per hour.
