Walking
Klodi's Gate is located in a central area of Paphos and is easily accessible on foot from many points in the city center. From the Paphos Harbour area, walk inland, generally heading east. Use the Paphos Archaeological Park as a landmark; Klodi's Gate is a short walk to the northeast of the park's entrance. As you approach the area, look for the coordinates QC64+W29. The gate is part of the ancient city walls and is set against the backdrop of the modern city. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from other parts of Paphos, several bus routes stop near the Paphos Archaeological Park. From the bus stop, walk east along Agiou Antoniou Street for approximately 5 minutes. Klodi's Gate will be on your left. A single bus ticket within Paphos costs €2 during the day and €3 at night. A day ticket is €6.50.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Paphos. You can hail a taxi from the street or call one of the local taxi services. A taxi ride from the Paphos Harbour area to Klodi's Gate will cost approximately €6-€10, depending on the time of day and traffic. Taxi fares have a base fare of €3.42 during the day (06:00 to 20:30) and a rate per km of €0.73. At night (20:30 to 06:00), the base fare is €4.36 and the price per km is €0.85.
Car
If you're driving, head towards Paphos town center. From the main road (A6), take the exit towards Paphos and continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection of Poseidonos Avenue. Take the second exit onto Poseidonos Avenue. Continue along this road until you reach the traffic lights near the harbor. Turn left onto the road leading to the Old Town. Keep following the signs for the Old Town and Klodi's Gate. The destination will be on your right shortly after you enter the Old Town area. There is street parking available, usually free, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions. Alternatively, the Parking Center of Paphos is a convenient and spacious parking area located in the city center. Payment is easily done through the Pafos Now app, with a rate of €0.50 per hour.
