The Agia Solomoni Catacomb, located in Kato Paphos, is a captivating historical and spiritual site that dates back to the Hellenistic period. Originally a complex of tombs, it transitioned into a Christian place of worship and pilgrimage. The catacomb is named after Agia Solomoni, who is considered one of the first Cypriots to embrace Christianity.According to local lore, Solomoni sought refuge in the cave to escape persecution by the Romans.
