Getting There

Walking

From Paphos Harbour, the lighthouse is within easy walking distance. Follow the coastal path through the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park. The well-marked paths lead directly to the lighthouse. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes, offering scenic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding ruins.
Public Transport

Several bus routes connect Paphos city center and surrounding areas to the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park. Bus routes 611 (from Tombs of the Kings Main Bus Station), 610 (from the Municipal Market), and 606 (from Yerouskipou) all stop near the entrance of the park. A single ticket costs €2 (or €3 at night), and a day ticket is €6.50.
Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Paphos. A taxi ride from Paphos city center to the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park and lighthouse costs approximately €10-€15. Ensure the taxi driver is aware of the location within the archaeological park to avoid confusion.

The light, with a focal height of 36 meters above sea level, emits a white flash every fifteen seconds, visible from 17 nautical miles. Today, the lighthouse operates with an automated system powered by solar energy. While the interior is not accessible to the public, visitors can explore the surrounding area, enjoy the coastal paths, and take in the panoramic views.
