Getting There

Walking
Start at Paphos Harbour, a central location for tourists. From the Harbour, head east along the sea promenade (Paphos Coastal Path) for approximately 1.5 km. Enjoy the scenic views of the Mediterranean Sea. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Poseidonos Avenue. At the junction, turn left onto Poseidonos Avenue and walk for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. Look for the signs directing you towards Saranta Kolones. After about 500 meters, you will see a small path leading to the Forty Columns Fortress on your right. Follow this path until you reach the fortress.

Public Bus
From Paphos Harbour, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Paphos Harbour Bus Stop.' Take bus number 615 towards 'Kato Paphos' and get off at the 'Saranta Kolones' stop. This journey will take about 10 minutes. Once you get off, you will see signs pointing towards Forty Columns Fortress. Walk approximately 200 meters straight ahead, and you will arrive at the fortress entrance.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Paphos Harbour. Once you have a bicycle, cycle along the coastal path towards the east for about 1.5 km. When you reach the junction with Poseidonos Avenue, turn left and continue cycling for about 500 meters. Look for the small path leading to Forty Columns Fortress on your right. Follow this path to reach the fortress. It should be a pleasant ride with beautiful views along the coast.
