Getting There

Walking
From the center of Polis Chrysochous, head south on Grigori Afxentiou Street towards the main road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the B7 road (also known as the main coastal road). Turn left onto the B7 road. Walk along the B7 for about 5 kilometers until you reach the village of Peyia. Once in Peyia, look for signs that direct you towards Avakas Gorge. Continue straight until you see Avakas Gorge Road. Follow Avakas Gorge Road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Avakas Gorge.

Bus
From Polis Chrysochous, take a local bus heading towards Peyia. Buses usually depart from the main bus station located near the central square. The journey to Peyia takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Peyia, disembark at the Peyia stop. After getting off, follow the signs to Avakas Gorge, which is around 2 kilometers. You can either walk or ask locals for directions if you are unsure.
