Public Bus
From Polis Chrysochous, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the bus heading towards Paphos. You can take the bus from the main square in Polis. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Peyia, as this is the closest village to Avakas Gorge. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Peyia, get off at the main bus stop.

Walking
From the Peyia bus stop, head towards the village center and look for signs directing you to Avakas Gorge. It's about a 2.5 km walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the gorge. Walk along Avakas Gorge Road, and you will eventually see a sign for the Avakas Gorge Nature Trail on your left. Follow the path into the gorge, and enjoy the stunning scenery.

If you prefer not to walk from Peyia, you can take a local taxi from the Peyia bus stop directly to the Avakas Gorge entrance. Taxi stands are usually available near the bus stop, or you can call for a taxi. The drive should take approximately 10-15 minutes, and it is a short distance of about 6 km.
