After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with Vasileos Georgiou Street. Turn left onto Vasileos Georgiou and then left onto Stasandrou Street. Continue walking straight, and you will see the church and archeological site after a short walk. Walking is free.

According to tradition, St. Paul was flogged here for preaching Christianity before converting the Roman governor, Sergius Paulus, to Christianity. Adjacent to the church, the archeological site reveals remnants of ancient structures and artifacts. These ruins offer insights into the lives of those who inhabited this area centuries ago. The site includes the ruins of the Panagia Chrysopolitissa Basilica, one of the largest early Christian basilicas on the island, dating back to the 4th century AD. The basilica was once adorned with colorful mosaics and granite and marble columns. Although the basilica was destroyed, parts of the mosaic floors are still preserved. The site also contains the remains of a Gothic church, which was later converted into a mosque during the Ottoman occupation. Today, the Agia Kyriaki Church, also known as St. Paul's Catholic Church, is used by various Christian denominations, including Catholic, Anglican, and Orthodox communities.
