Hiking
From the center of Troodos, start your journey towards the Platania waterfalls by heading east on the main road. Follow the signs for the Troodos Visitor Centre. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads towards the nature trails. After about 500 meters, you will see signs for the Platania waterfalls. The path will be marked, and you will follow a well-maintained trail that will take you through the beautiful natural scenery. The walk is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 20-30 minutes. Keep an eye out for the sounds of the water as you approach the falls.

If you are starting from the Troodos Square area, take the main hiking trail leading from the square. This trail will merge with the road leading to the waterfalls. Follow this path, which winds through the forest, for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the views and the fresh air. You will eventually reach the Platania waterfalls. The total walking time from Troodos Square is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace.
