Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Troodos, walk to the Troodos Square bus stop. Look for the bus that goes to Foini, which is usually marked with routes towards the villages of the Troodos Mountains. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Foini bus station, exit the bus and head east on the main road for about 500 meters. You should see signs directing you to the Trooditissa Monastery. Follow the signs, and within a short walk, you will find the monastery on your left.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from the center of Troodos, start at Troodos Square and take the path leading south towards Foini. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers and will take around 45 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and the pine forests. Follow the path until you reach the village of Foini. Once in Foini, look for directional signs to Trooditissa Monastery, which is located just a short distance from the village center.

• Taxi

  You can also opt for a taxi service from Troodos to Foini. At Troodos Square, you can ask local taxi drivers for a ride to Trooditissa Monastery in Foini. The journey by taxi will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination clearly. After arriving in Foini, you may need to walk a short distance to the monastery, so ask the driver to drop you off close to it.
