Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of the Machairas Mountains, head south on the main road towards Kalo Chorio. Continue for approximately 10 km until you reach the junction with the B7 road. Turn left onto B7 and follow the signs for the Troodos Mountains. After about 6 km, you will see a sign for the Walls of Old Chora on your right. Park in the designated area nearby (free parking). From the parking lot, a short hike of about 15-20 minutes on a well-marked trail will lead you directly to the Walls of Old Chora.

    If you are already in the Troodos area and prefer to walk, you can trek from the Troodos Square to the Walls of Old Chora. The walk is approximately 7 kilometers and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the main hiking trails that lead towards Pano Platres, and keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Old Chora. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring plenty of water.
