Getting There

• Walking

  From the Troodos Square, head northwest on the main road towards the Troodos Hotel. Continue walking until you reach the bus stop located just outside the hotel. Here, you will catch a bus heading towards Limassol. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure.

• Bus

  Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride as you travel downhill towards Limassol. The journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Keep an eye out for the stop near the Amathus Beach area, as you will need to get off here. This stop is often used by tourists heading to the coastal attractions.

• Walking

  After exiting the bus at the Amathus Beach stop, walk towards the direction of the main road (Limassol Avenue). Take a left and continue walking until you see signs directing you to the E4 hiking trail. The trail will lead you towards the Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου.

• Hiking

  Follow the E4 hiking trail which is well-marked. The hike to Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry water and wear appropriate hiking shoes. Along the way, enjoy the natural beauty and the unique colors of the landscape, especially if you are visiting in winter.

  Upon reaching Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου, take some time to explore the area. The lake is known for its stunning views and seasonal colors, which change throughout the year. Make sure to capture some photos and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful location.
