Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the main hub in Troodos National Forest Park. Navigate to the route that leads towards Limassol. Follow the road signs for the B8 highway towards Limassol. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach a sign for Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου. Turn right onto the unpaved road leading to the lake. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes in total, depending on traffic. Please note that the last segment of the road may be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

• Public Transportation

  To use public transportation, catch a bus from Troodos Square to Limassol. The bus schedule may vary, so check the local timetable for the latest departures. Once you arrive in Limassol, take a taxi to Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου, which is approximately a 30-minute drive away. Expect to pay around €25-€30 for the taxi fare. Be aware that public transportation options may be limited, especially on weekends.

• Hiking

  For the adventurous, if you are already hiking in the vicinity of Troodos National Forest Park, you can trek to Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου. Follow established hiking trails that lead south from the main trails in Troodos. The hike may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace and chosen path. Make sure to carry sufficient water and snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
