Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου: A Hidden Gem in Limassol

Εποχιακή Λίμνη Αμιάντου (Seasonal Lake of Amiantos) is a hidden gem located in the Limassol region of Cyprus. The lake's unique landscape evokes a sense of mystery, nestled among colossal rocks sculpted by decades of asbestos mining. Formed by winter rains, this 'secret' lake, as locals call it, often vanishes in the summer, making its appearance all the more enchanting. The rugged beauty of the terrain, combined with the surprise of a water feature, creates a truly unique and otherworldly scene. The contrast between the grey rocks and the blue water filling the old mine crater, along with the sparse vegetation, adds to the lake's eerie charm.
