Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. From there, take the road 58 towards the direction of Staré Hamry. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the village of Staré Hamry. Once in the village, look for signs directing you to Švarná Hanka, which is located at Staré Hamry 69. Parking is available near the lodge, but it may be limited during peak seasons.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. From there, you can catch a local bus (Bus No. 251) heading towards Staré Hamry. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Staré Hamry stop and from there, it is a short walk to Švarná Hanka, following the signs or using a map application for directional assistance.

Walking
If you’re already in the vicinity and prefer to walk, you can head from the center of Staré Hamry towards the lodge. Follow the main road (Hlavní) for about 1 kilometer. The lodge is well-marked, and the walk allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Beskydy Mountains. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
