If you're driving from Prague, take the D8 highway towards Ústí nad Labem. After about 80 km, take exit 66 toward Česká Lípa. Continue on the E442 road and follow the signs for Česká Lípa. Once in the city, head towards U Vodního hradu 63, where Lipý Castle is located. There is parking available nearby, and be prepared for a small fee depending on the location.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Prague's main station (Praha hlavní nádraží) to Česká Lípa. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Česká Lípa train station, exit and walk to the bus stop nearby. Take bus number 4 or 5 towards "U Vodního hradu". The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Alight at the stop and Lipý Castle will be a short walk away.

You can also take a bus from Prague to Česká Lípa. Buses depart from the Florenc Bus Station and the journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you reach Česká Lípa Bus Station, walk to the train station and take bus number 4 or 5 towards "U Vodního hradu". After a 10-minute bus ride, get off at the stop and walk a few minutes to reach Lipý Castle.
