If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the D35 motorway. From Prague, take the D11 to Hradec Králové, then merge onto the D35 towards Olomouc. Exit at Litomyšl and follow the signs to the town center. The castle is located at Jiráskova 93, 570 01 Litomyšl. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee, so prepare some Czech korunas for the meter.

To reach Litomyšl Castle via train, first make your way to Prague's main train station (Hlavní nádraží). Take a train to Česká Třebová, which takes about 1.5 hours. From Česká Třebová, transfer to a regional train heading to Litomyšl, which will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Litomyšl train station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the castle. Follow the signs towards the town center, then take Jiráskova street directly to the castle.
