Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, head towards the center of Prague. Use the D1 highway if coming from the south or the D5 from the west. Once in Prague, follow signs for the city center (Centrum). As you approach the Vltava River, look for signs directing you to Vyšehrad. You will need to take the exit towards 'Vyšehrad' and follow the road to V Pevnosti 159/5b, 128 00 Praha 2-Vyšehrad. Public Transportation

To reach Vyšehrad using public transport, you can take the metro to the 'Vyšehrad' station on line C (red line). Once you exit the metro, follow the signs towards the Vyšehrad fortress.
