Public Transport
Start at the Brno main train station (Hlavní nádraží). From here, take tram number 1 towards 'Bystrc, Hráz'. Ride for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the 'Bystrc, Hráz' stop. Once you get off the tram, follow the signs towards the bus stop and take bus number 303 towards 'Veverská Bítýška'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Veverská Bítýška' stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards the castle. Follow the signs leading you along the path that will take you directly to Veveří Castle.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Bystrc area, you can start your journey at the Bystrc, Hráz tram stop. Head towards the lakeside path, which offers a scenic route. Follow the path along the Brno Reservoir for about 1.5 kilometers until you see signs pointing towards Veveří Castle. The walk will take around 20-30 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the reservoir.
