Getting there

Car

If you're driving, head towards Kutná Hora. From Prague, take the D11 highway towards Hradec Králové, then merge onto the D35 towards Kolín. From Kolín, take the exit for Kutná Hora and follow signs to the city center. Once you reach Kutná Hora, look for signs directing you to the Sedlec district. The ossuary is located at Zámecká, 284 03 Kutná Hora 3. There is paid parking available nearby, so budget for parking fees (approximately 20 CZK per hour).

Public Transportation - Train

Begin your journey by taking a train from Prague's main train station (Hlavní nádraží) to Kutná Hora. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Kutná Hora train station, exit and take bus number 2 or 3 from the station towards the Sedlec Ossuary. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Sedlec, kostnice' stop, and the ossuary is just a short walk away. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
