From the center of České Budějovice, head to the main bus station (Autobusové nádraží) located at Nádražní 1751/1. Look for bus routes heading to Hluboká nad Vltavou. Buses such as line 31 or line 33 will take you directly to Hluboká. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Hluboká nad Vltavou bus stop, exit the bus and walk straight towards the castle; it will be approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs towards Zámek (Castle) until you reach Hluboká Castle at Zámek 142.

From České Budějovice main train station (Hlavní nádraží), take a train heading towards the station 'Hluboká nad Vltavou - Zámostí'. The train ride lasts about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the station, exit and take bus line 31 or 33 from the nearby bus stop towards Hluboká nad Vltavou. Get off at the Hluboká nad Vltavou stop, then walk towards the castle for about 15 minutes, following the signs that direct you to Zámek.

If you're up for a scenic walk, start from the center of České Budějovice and walk towards the river Vltava. Follow the river path for about 5 kilometers. This route will take you through some beautiful countryside and local areas until you reach Hluboká nad Vltavou. Upon entering the town, follow the signs to Zámek, which will lead you directly to Hluboká Castle.
