Dvořákova Bouda: A Mountain Retreat in Špindlerův Mlýn

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Dvořákova bouda, start from the town of Špindlerův Mlýn. Head towards the main road (Route 14) and follow the signs for Svatý Petr. As you reach Svatý Petr, look for signs pointing to Dvořákova bouda, which is located approximately 6 km from the center of Špindlerův Mlýn. The road will eventually become a gravel path. You may need to park your car at a designated parking area near the trailhead, as private vehicles are not allowed on the final section leading directly to the lodge. There may be parking fees, so be prepared to pay for parking.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Dvořákova bouda by public transport, take a bus from Hradec Králové or Liberec to Špindlerův Mlýn. Once you arrive at the Špindlerův Mlýn bus station, transfer to a local shuttle bus heading towards Svatý Petr. Disembark at the stop nearest to the trailhead for Dvořákova bouda. From there, you will need to hike approximately 6 km on a marked trail. Be sure to check the bus schedules for departures and return times to plan your journey accordingly.

• Hiking

  If you are already in the vicinity and prefer to hike to Dvořákova bouda, you can start your hike from the center of Špindlerův Mlýn. Follow the marked hiking trails towards Svatý Petr and then continue on the trail that leads directly to Dvořákova bouda. The hike is approximately 6 km, and it may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry enough water and snacks for the journey.
