The Plague Column: A Historic Landmark in Kutná Hora

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Kutná Hora main train station, exit the station and head straight towards the city center. Walk along the main road (Havlíčkova) for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Palackého street. Turn right onto Palackého street and continue straight until you reach the Church of St. Barbara. From there, continue walking straight onto Žižkova street, and follow it until you reach Šultysova street. The Plague Column will be on your left side at the address Šultysova, 284 01 Kutná Hora 1.

• Public Transport

  If you are near the city center or in the vicinity of the Church of St. Barbara, you can take a local bus to get closer to the Plague Column. Look for bus stop 'Šultysova' on the local bus route. Board the bus and alight at the Šultysova stop. From there, the Plague Column is a short walk away. Head south on Šultysova street, and you will see the Plague Column located nearby.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of the Sedlec Ossuary, you can walk to the Plague Column. Start by walking north on Zámecká street until you reach the main road. Turn right on the main road and then take the first left onto Šultysova street. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters, and you will find the Plague Column on your right side.
