If you are driving from the center of Máchovo jezero, head southwest on the main road (E442) towards Turnov. Continue driving for about 15 kilometers, following the signs for Turnov. Once you reach Turnov, look for signs directing you to Valdštejn Castle. You can park in the designated parking area near the castle entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Valdštejn Castle via public transport, start from the Máchovo jezero bus station. Take a bus towards Turnov; the buses are frequent, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Turnov bus station. From there, it is a 20-minute walk to the castle. Exit the bus station and head southwest on U Nádraží street, turn left onto Školní street, and follow it until you reach the castle.

If you are already in Turnov, you can walk to Valdštejn Castle. Start at the Turnov bus station and head southwest on U Nádraží street. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Valdštejnská street. Turn left onto Valdštejnská, and follow the signs for the castle. The total walking distance is approximately 2 kilometers, and it should take about 25 minutes.
