Getting there

Public Transport

To reach Holštejn from the center of Olomouc, start by taking tram number 1 from the 'Hlavní nádraží' stop towards 'Nová Ulice'. Get off at 'Tržnice' stop. From there, head to the bus station located nearby and take bus number 780 towards 'Sloup v Moravském Krasu'. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver you wish to stop at 'Sloup v Moravském Krasu'. Once you arrive, Holštejn is a short 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head southwest on 'Hlavní' street, then take a left on 'Lesní' street, and follow the signs leading to Holštejn. You will see beautiful landscapes along the way.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of Sloup v Moravském Krasu, you can easily walk to Holštejn. From the center of Sloup, head south on 'Hlavní' street until you reach the intersection with 'Lesní' street. Turn left onto 'Lesní' street and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through some scenic areas, and eventually, you will see the signs directing you to Holštejn. It’s a pleasant walk that should take about 20-30 minutes.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Olomouc. Head to the 'Cycling Center' near the main square and rent a bike. From there, take the bike paths leading towards the bus station and catch bus number 780 to Sloup v Moravském Krasu. Once you arrive, you can cycle directly to Holštejn, which is about 5 kilometers away. Follow the route along 'Hlavní' street and 'Lesní' street, which is ideal for cycling. This should be a fun and active way to reach your destination.
