Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Blansko, which is the nearest larger city. Head east on the E461 road toward Babice nad Svitavou. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Babice nad Svitavou. Follow the signs for Malá Macocha. The last part of the journey will require you to navigate local roads; follow the signs specifically indicating 'Malá Macocha' as you approach. There is limited parking available near the entrance, so expect to pay a small fee of around 50 CZK for parking.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Brno to Blansko, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Blansko, transfer to a bus (Bus number 201) that goes to Babice nad Svitavou. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Babice nad Svitavou' stop. From there, you can follow the signposts to Malá Macocha, which is about a 20-minute walk. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary throughout the day.
Bike
Cycling is another great option if you're feeling adventurous. You can rent a bike in Blansko and follow the cycling paths toward Malá Macocha. The route is approximately 12 kilometers and will take you through beautiful landscapes of the Moravian Karst. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable clothing. There are some steep sections, so a mountain bike is recommended.
