Public Transport
If you are starting at the Ostrava Main Train Station (Ostrava Hlavní Nádraží), take tram number 4 in the direction of 'Svinov'. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Karolina' stop. From there, transfer to tram number 7 in the direction of 'Hranice na Moravě'. After about 5 stops (approximately 10 minutes), disembark at 'Slezská Ostrava'. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the north for about 15 minutes along the main road until you reach Halda Ema, which will be visible as a large hill.

If you're in the city center, head towards the Ostrava City Hall and take the main road (Czech: 'Masarykova třída') heading east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Nádražní ulice'. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the 'Karolina' shopping center. From there, follow the directions for public transport as outlined above or continue walking straight for another 30 minutes until you see Halda Ema in the distance.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Ostrava. Start from the city center and head towards the 'Masarykova třída'. Follow this street east, then take a right onto 'Nádražní ulice'. Keep going until you reach the 'Karolina' shopping center. From there, follow the tram route mentioned above but on your bike, which should take approximately 15-20 minutes to cycle to Halda Ema.
