Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards Mikulov. From the center of Palava, take the road leading to Mikulov (approximately 20 minutes drive). Once you reach Mikulov, follow the signs to 'Goat Castle' or 'Na Jámě'. You will need to park your car at one of the nearby parking areas. Note that there may be a parking fee, typically around 50 CZK for a few hours.
Public Transportation
For public transport, catch a bus from the main bus station in Palava to Mikulov. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mikulov bus station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) to Goat Castle using the route that leads through the town, or you can take a local taxi, which should cost around 150 CZK to 200 CZK. Walking directions: Exit the bus station, turn right onto Zámecká street, continue straight until you reach Hlavní street, then turn left and follow the signs towards Na Jámě.
Walking from Mikulov
If you prefer to walk from Mikulov, start at the Mikulov bus station. Head west on Zámecká street, then turn left onto Hlavní street. Continue following the signs to 'Goat Castle' for about 2.5 km. The walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes, so take your time to enjoy the scenery.
