From Plzeň city center (Náměstí Republiky), take tram line 4 to the 'Zoologická zahrada' stop. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. From the tram stop, it is a short walk through Lochotín Park to the zoo entrance. A 30-minute public transport ticket costs 24 CZK.

From the Plzeň city center, it's approximately a 30-40 minute walk to Plzeň Zoo. A pleasant route is to walk north through the city, cross the Radbuza River, and continue through the Kilometrovka alley. Follow the signs towards Lochotín Park and the zoo.

From the D5 highway, take the Plzeň-sever exit and follow the signs for Plzeň and Zoo. The zoo is located in the Lochotín district, about 2 kilometers north of the city center. There are several parking lots near the main entrance, with parking costing 80 CZK per car.
