Public Transport
From Plzeň's city center, take Tram line 4 to the 'Zoologická zahrada' stop. The tram stop is a short walk through Lochotín Park to the zoo's main entrance. A single public transport ticket costs approximately 25 CZK. Alternatively, during the summer, a special tourist train operates from Republic Square directly to the Zoo for 50 CZK.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Bolt are readily available in Plzeň. A taxi ride from Plzeň Plaza to the zoo is approximately 2.3 km and costs around 117-139 CZK. Keep in mind that fares may vary depending on traffic and time of day.
Walking
From the former exhibition grounds (OC Plaza), a pleasant 20-minute walk along Kilometrovka avenue will lead you to the zoo. This route is well-marked and offers a scenic approach to the zoo's entrance. No costs are associated with walking.
Driving
If driving, follow signs for 'Zoo' from the city center via Lochotínská and Pod Vinicemi streets. Parking is available at two main lots near the main entrance (P1 and P2) for 100 CZK per car. Parking is also available near the upper entrance (Vinice), but spaces are limited.
