    If you're starting from the Plzeň main train station (Hlavní nádraží), exit the station and head west on Smetanova Street. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with náměstí Republiky (Republic Square). Cross the square and continue onto Smetanovy sady. The Stará synagoga will be located at Smetanovy sady 80/5, on your left after about 200 meters.

From there, walk a short distance towards Smetanovy sady 80/5. The Stará synagoga is located just a few steps away from the tram stop.

    From the Plzeň City Theatre (Divadlo J. K. Tyla), head southeast on Klatovská třída towards the intersection with Smetanova Street.
