Black Angel's Bar offers a unique step back in time, transporting patrons to the era of American Prohibition within the heart of Prague's Old Town. Located in the gothic cellar of the U Prince Hotel, the bar's design evokes the atmosphere of a secret gathering place, with original Romanesque and Gothic stonework enhancing the mood.The bar pays homage to Alois Krcha, a bartending legend from the early 20th century, who ran a public house in Prague during a time when alcohol was banned. Manager Pavel “Pavka” Šíma and consultant Zdeněk Kaštánek collaborated to create the bar's unique interior. The cocktail menu features both original creations and classic recipes, prepared with fresh ingredients and homemade syrups. Guests can also enjoy a selection of wines and champagnes. The bar's ambiance is enhanced by live piano music, creating a luxurious and mischievous atmosphere.Black Angel's Bar has earned accolades as one of the world's top bars, consistently ranking among the best hotel bars.
