Experience Fontána před Národním muzeem

Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near a metro station, take the Metro Line C (red line) towards Háje. Get off at the Muzeum station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the National Museum. Upon exiting the station, you will be facing the building of the National Museum. The Fontána před Národním muzeem is located directly in front of the museum.

  • Tram

    You can also take a tram to reach the Fontána před Národním muzeem. Look for tram lines 4, 10, 16 or 22. Board any of these trams and get off at 'Muzeum' stop. Once you alight, you will see the National Museum in front of you, with the Fontána located right in front of it.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the New Town area, you can walk to the Fontána před Národním muzeem. Find your way towards Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square) and head towards the top of the square where the National Museum is located. The Fontána is directly in front of the museum. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.

  • Bus

    If you are using the bus system, take any bus that goes towards the 'Muzeum' stop. After getting off the bus, you will see the National Museum straight ahead. The Fontána před Národním muzeem is located at the front of the museum.
