Lumia Gallery: An Immersive Audiovisual Art Experience
Experience the magic of light and sound at Lumia Gallery, Prague's premier destination for immersive audiovisual art and digital innovation.
Located in a historic building on Celetná Street, the Lumia Gallery is the largest collection of audiovisual art in the Czech Republic. The gallery spans two floors and features a 1400 m² projection area, creating a captivating world where reality and fantasy merge. Visitors can explore a variety of immersive exhibits, including interactive projections, 3D projects, videomapping, LED mapping, and kaleidoscopic cinema. These installations respond to movement, allowing visitors to become active participants in the art. The gallery's exhibits transport visitors to different environments, such as the surface of Mars, the depths of the ocean, and a spacewalk through the galaxy. The Lumia Gallery was created by a group of artists and digital arts experts with a passion for modern technologies and live audiovisual art. Photographer, artist, and producer Filip Kočík, also known as Feex, conceived the original concept for the gallery. Since 2022, the gallery has collaborated with various artists to create exceptional installations that transform the interiors of historic buildings into living organisms. The gallery is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the experience. However, it is not recommended for people with photosensitivity or photosensitive epilepsy.
