Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Prague's main railway station (Hlavní Nádraží), exit the station and walk to the metro station, which is located directly beneath the railway station. Take the metro line C (red line) in the direction of Letňany. After three stops, get off at the 'Muzeum' station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to the exit and head towards Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square). As you emerge from the metro station, you will find yourself in Wenceslas Square. The Cold War Museum is located at Václavské nám. 45, which is just a short walk down the square on your right. The museum entrance will be on your left after you pass the National Museum.

  • Tram

    If you prefer to travel by tram, you can take tram number 9, 14, or 24 from various points in the city center. If you are near the Old Town Square, walk to the 'Staroměstská' tram stop and board tram number 9 or 14. Stay on the tram for about 8 minutes and get off at the 'Václavské náměstí' stop. From there, walk towards the end of Wenceslas Square where you will find the Cold War Museum at Václavské nám. 45. The entrance will be on your left.

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, such as Old Town (Staré Město) or near Charles Bridge, you can walk to the Cold War Museum. From Old Town Square, head towards the 'Na Příkopě' street and walk straight until you reach Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí). Once at the square, walk down the square towards the National Museum; the Cold War Museum is located at Václavské nám. 45, on your left. The entire walk should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
