Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you're starting from Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), walk to the Můstek tram stop, located at the southern end of the square. From there, take tram number 3, 9, or 24 in the direction of the Náplavka stop. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Náplavka' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Vltava River. Žofín Palace is located on Slovanský ostrov, which you can reach by crossing the nearby footbridge.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Charles Bridge (Karlův most), head southeast towards the riverbank. Walk along the river in the direction of the National Theatre (Národní divadlo). Continue past the theatre, and you will soon see a path leading to Slovanský ostrov. Walk onto the island, and Žofín Palace will be on your left, just a short stroll away.

  • Public Transport - Metro and Tram

    From the Mustek metro station (line A) in the city center, take the metro to Muzeum station (one stop). Transfer to line C and travel to the Florenc station. From Florenc, take tram number 8 towards the 'Náplavka' stop. After about 10 minutes, disembark at Náplavka and walk towards the river to reach Žofín Palace on Slovanský ostrov.

    If you are near the Prague Main Train Station (Hlavní nádraží), take bus number 175 from the bus stop 'Hlavní nádraží' towards 'Sídliště Ďáblice'. After 3 stops, get off at 'Národní divadlo'.
