Getting there

Metro

Take Line A (Green) from any station in Prague to the Malostranská station. Upon exiting the station, head towards the Vltava River and cross the Mánes Bridge. Once you reach the other side, follow the signs towards Prague Castle. As you walk up the hill, you will see signs for Hradčany Square. It is a short 10-minute walk from the bridge to the square.

Tram

Catch tram number 22 or 23 from any central location (like Wenceslas Square or the National Theatre). Ride the tram until you reach the 'Pražský hrad' stop. Once you get off, follow the signs leading you towards Hradčany Square, which is about a 5-minute walk uphill from the tram stop. Enjoy the scenic views as you make your way to the square.

Walking

If you are starting from the Old Town Square, make your way towards Karlova Street, which leads to Charles Bridge. Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, turn left and follow the riverside path. Continue along the path, and you will reach the foot of the hill leading to Prague Castle. Follow the path upwards; you will see signs directing you to Hradčany Square. The walk takes approximately 20-25 minutes.
