Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Old Town Square, walk towards the Týn Church and head northwest on Karlova Street until you reach the Charles Bridge. Cross the Charles Bridge and continue up the hill via Mostecká Street. Follow the signs for Prague Castle. You will pass through the beautiful Malá Strana district. Continue straight until you reach Hradčanská Square, where you will see the main entrance to Prague Castle.

Tram
From the city center, you can take tram number 22 or 23 from either the Národní třída or Malostranská stops. If you get on at Národní třída, get off at the Pražský hrad stop. From there, follow the signs to the castle, which is a short walk up the hill. If you board from Malostranská, get off at the same stop and follow the same walking directions.
