If you are starting from Charles Bridge, head east across the bridge towards Klementinum. Once you reach the other side, turn left onto Klementinum and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Karlova Street. Turn right onto Karlova and follow it until you reach the Old Town Square. From the square, exit towards the river and walk along the embankment (Smetanovo nábřeží). Continue walking until you see the Josef Manes monument located on Alšovo nábřeží, right by the Vltava River.

If you are near Wenceslas Square, head to the Můstek tram stop. Take tram number 9 in the direction of Spojovací and get off at the Národní třída stop. From there, walk towards the Vltava River by heading south on Národní Street.
