Public Transport
If you're starting from the city center, make your way to the nearest Metro station, such as 'Můstek' or 'Mustek' on Line A (green line). Take the Metro in the direction of 'Nemocnice Motol' and get off at the 'Malostranská' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards 'Malostranské náměstí'. From the square, head northwest towards 'Hradčany'. You can either walk or take a tram (Tram 22) from 'Malostranská' tram stop to reach 'Pražský hrad' (Prague Castle). Get off at 'Pražský hrad' tram stop, and from there, walk approximately 10 minutes uphill to 'Na baště sv. Jiří'. The Famous Log is located at 1, Na baště sv. Jiří 255, right near the castle walls.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Old Town area, start at the famous 'Old Town Square'. Head towards 'Charles Bridge' and cross over to the other side. After crossing, continue straight along 'Kampa Island' and follow the path that leads up to 'Petřín Hill'. From there, navigate towards the west side of 'Prague Castle'. You will find yourself on 'Na baště sv. Jiří' where The Famous Log is located. This walk will take around 30-40 minutes, but the views are stunning and worth the trek.

From any central location, locate the nearest tram stop. Take Tram 22 in the direction of 'Bílá Hora'. Get off at the 'Pražský hrad' stop. After disembarking, follow the signs leading to 'Prague Castle'. The Famous Log is about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop, situated at 1, Na baště sv. Jiří 255, right next to the castle walls.
