Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the New Town area, start your journey by heading towards the Vltava River, then make your way to the Národní třída. Walk towards the intersection with Karoliny Světlé St. and turn right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Náměstí Republiky. Prašná brána will be on your left at Nám. Republiky 5, 110 00 Staré Město. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting point.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From any location in New Town, locate the nearest tram stop. Take tram lines 5, 8, or 24 towards the direction of Náměstí Republiky. The journey will take about 10 minutes. Once you reach the Náměstí Republiky stop, disembark and Prašná brána will be right in front of you at Nám. Republiky 5, 110 00 Staré Město. A single ticket costs 40 CZK and is valid for 90 minutes of travel.
