If you're driving from the city of Opava, take the road E442 heading towards Krnov. After approximately 20 km, take the exit toward Hranice/Bruntál and merge onto the 11 road. Continue for about 25 km until you reach Radkov-Melč. Once in Radkov-Melč, follow the signs to castle Vikštejn, which is located at the address 747 84 Radkov-Melč. There is free parking available near the castle.

To reach castle Vikštejn using public transport, start your journey from Opava. Take a bus from Opava bus station to Krnov, which takes about 30 minutes. From Krnov, transfer to another bus that goes to Radkov. The bus ride to Radkov takes around 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Radkov, the castle is a short walk away, approximately 1 km. Follow the signs towards castle Vikštejn. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
