Getting there

Car

If you are driving, head towards the town of Nedvědice. From Brno, take the D1 highway towards Prague and exit at 194 for Vysočina. Follow the signs for Nedvědice (approximately 30 km from Brno). Once in Nedvědice, follow the signs to Pernštejn Castle. There is a parking area available near the castle, which may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation

To reach Pernštejn Castle via public transport, take a train from Brno to the town of Tišnov. From Tišnov, you will need to take a bus (line 115) towards Nedvědice. Get off at the stop 'Nedvědice, Hrad Pernštejn'. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop. Ensure to check the bus and train schedules in advance as they may vary.

Walking

If you have parked in Nedvědice, the castle is approximately a 30-minute walk from the center of town. Follow the marked trails leading to the castle, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as some paths may be uneven.
