From any location in West Bohemia, head towards the D5 highway. Take the D5 towards Prague, then merge onto the D0 highway (Pražský okruh). Continue on D0 and take the exit towards I/16 and Karlštejn. Follow signs for Karlštejn, and after approximately 30 km from the D0 exit, you will arrive in the village of Karlštejn. The castle is located at Karlštejn 172, 267 18 Karlštejn. Note that parking is available near the castle, typically costing around 50 CZK for the day.
