  If you're traveling by car, head towards Upper Black Eddy, PA. From Wilmington, DE, take I-95 N toward Philadelphia. Merge onto I-295 N and then take exit 10 for US-1 N. Continue on US-1 N for about 15 miles and take the exit toward PA-32 S. Follow PA-32 S for approximately 10 miles until you reach Lodi Hill Rd. Turn left onto Lodi Hill Rd, and Delaware Canal State Park will be on your right. Make sure to check for parking availability upon arrival.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a SEPTA train (Trenton Line) from Wilmington or any nearby station to the Yardley station in Pennsylvania. From Yardley, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to reach Delaware Canal State Park, which is about 10 miles away. Be aware that public transport schedules may vary, so it's best to check the latest timetables on the SEPTA website.

• Bicycle

  If you’re feeling adventurous and want to cycle to Delaware Canal State Park, you can ride from nearby towns. From New Hope, PA, follow the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park Trail, which runs parallel to the canal. This scenic route is about 8 miles long and will lead you directly to the park. Keep in mind to wear a helmet and check your bike's condition before starting your journey.
