Car
Starting from Blackbird State Forest, head southeast on Blackbird Landing Rd. After about 3 miles, turn left onto DE-1 N. After approximately 10 miles, take Exit 104 toward Dover. Merge onto DE-8 W, then turn right onto The Green. The Old State House will be on your left at 25 The Green, Dover, DE 19901. Parking is available on The Green and surrounding streets, but be sure to check for any parking fees or restrictions.

From Blackbird State Forest, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to get to the nearest bus stop, as public transportation options are limited within the forest. Once you reach the bus stop, take the DART First State bus route 104 towards Dover. The bus will take you to the Dover Transit Center. From there, it’s a short walk to The Old State House. Head south on S. State St., then turn left onto The Green. The Old State House is located at 25 The Green, Dover, DE 19901. Be sure to check the DART First State schedule for bus times.
