From Cape Henlopen State Park, exit the park and head east on Cape Henlopen Drive. Continue onto Coastal Highway (US-1) heading north. After approximately 3 miles, take a right turn onto Route 9 (Lewes-Georgetown Highway). Follow Route 9 for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Pilottown Road. Turn left onto Pilottown Road and continue for about 0.5 miles. The Lightship Overfalls LV-118 will be on your left at 219 Pilottown Rd, Lewes, DE 19958.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking the DART First State bus Route 204 from the Cape Henlopen State Park area (nearest stop is at the park entrance). Ride the bus toward Lewes and disembark at the stop near the intersection of Route 9 and Pilottown Road. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk (0.5 miles) to the Lightship Overfalls LV-118. Head east on Route 9, then turn left onto Pilottown Road, and continue straight until you reach the lightship.

For cyclists, exit Cape Henlopen State Park and follow the same directions as if you were driving. Biking along Cape Henlopen Drive to Coastal Highway is scenic, and you can use bike lanes where available.
