Car
If you are driving from central Delaware Piedmont, start by getting onto DE-1 S (Coastal Highway) heading south. Continue on DE-1 S for approximately 16 miles. Take exit 34 towards Lewes, and merge onto Cape Henlopen Drive. Follow Cape Henlopen Drive for about 3 miles, and the Seaside Nature Center will be on your right at 15099 Cape Henlopen Dr, Lewes, DE 19958. There is ample parking available on-site.

Using public transportation, you can take the DART First State bus service. Board the DART bus route 204 heading towards Lewes. After about a 45-minute journey, disembark at the nearest stop to Cape Henlopen State Park. From there, it's roughly a 15-20 minute walk to the Seaside Nature Center at 15099 Cape Henlopen Dr. Be sure to check the DART website for the latest schedule and fare information; a standard fare is approximately $2.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can ride along the scenic bike trails from nearby areas in Delaware Piedmont. Start at the Junction & Breakwater Trail and head south towards Lewes. Follow the trail signs that lead towards Cape Henlopen State Park. Once you arrive at the park, the Seaside Nature Center is located about a mile inside the park. Be prepared for some minor elevation changes and ensure you have a bike lock for when you arrive.

If you're already within walking distance in Lewes, you can approach the Seaside Nature Center by foot. From downtown Lewes, head south on 2nd Street until you reach Cape Henlopen Drive. Turn right and continue walking for about 2 miles. The Seaside Nature Center will be on your left. This route offers a pleasant walk along the coastal scenery.
