From Fort Delaware State Park, head northwest toward the Fort Delaware State Park ferry terminal. Take the ferry back to the mainland, which typically operates from 10 AM to 4 PM and costs $12 for adults (check the ferry schedule for exact times). Once on the mainland, you will be at the intersection of 3rd Street and the ferry landing. Turn left onto 3rd Street, then take a right onto Route 9 (S. Market Street). Continue on Route 9 for about 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 202 (Concord Pike). Turn left onto Route 202 North and continue for about 4 miles. Take a right onto Carr Road, and Bellevue State Park will be on your left at 800 Carr Rd, Wilmington, DE 19809.

Public Transportation
From Fort Delaware State Park, take the ferry back to the mainland at the Fort Delaware ferry terminal. After disembarking, you can catch the DART First State bus Route 33 towards Wilmington at the nearest bus stop on S. Market Street. The bus fare is $2.00 and it will take about 30 minutes to reach Wilmington. Once you arrive in Wilmington, transfer to the DART Route 11 bus towards Brandywine Town Center. Get off at the stop closest to Carr Road. Bellevue State Park is a short walk from the bus stop; just head north on Carr Road and you will reach the park entrance at 800 Carr Rd, Wilmington, DE 19809.
